Religious Education

Lifespan Education teaches our principles and fosters a free and independent search for truth and meaning.

Sunday School

Our program provides a liberal education that explores diverse religious beliefs, instills social and personal responsibility, encourages respect and reverence for all life, and creates a basis for life-long religious growth and learning. We value our children as part of a loving community, through worship, ritual, and celebration, in an environment where children feel safe, respected, and accepted. We offer the tools for a journey toward discovery of personal, meaningful spiritual beliefs and values.

Infants, Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers: Nursery care during Sunday services

Grades K - 6: Sunday school meets during Sunday services throughout the school year. In the summer, we offer a multi-age curriculum called Dr Seuss and UU for children during the services. Classes are taught by our Religious Education Director and volunteers who are members of the congregation. For further information, please contact Debi Keller (508) 457-0449.

Our Whole Lives: Our Whole Lives is a powerful sexuality education program and will be offered to youth in 7th and 8th grade during the 2014-2015 academic year. Here is a link to understand more about the program: http://www.uuabookstore.org/productdetails.cfm?PC=3056

Youth Group

Middle and high school students will be meeting together beginning in October 2016. The youth group will be facilitated by volunteers who are members of the congregation. For further information, please contact Religious Education Director Debi Keller at 978-821-3099.

Adult Education

Weather permitting, there’s an adult education program every Wednesday night from 7 to 9 pm. Typically we have speakers and discussion three or four times a month. Once a month we start early at 6 pm with a potluck supper followed by a movie and discussion. We try to keep our topics topical, to vary formats, to engage one another in discussion, and to respond to participants desires for learning and take advantage of knowledge in and near our community.

See the calendar for topics selected by the Adult Education Committee - if you want different topics, join the committee!
