We welcome all races, ethnicities, genders, income levels, ages, abilities, all challenges ~ unconditional acceptance for each individual.
Where is the church located? We can be found at 840 Sandwich Road in East Falmouth, MA 02536.We’re in a residential section of Falmouth between Route 151 and downtown Brick Kiln Road. Our Meetinghouse is between the Falmouth Jewish Congregation and the town playing fields just north of the junction of Sandwich Road and Hatchville Road.
When do services start? Every Sunday, year round, the one hour service starts at 10:00 a.m. There’s a coffee hour afterward and visitors are very welcome.
Where can I park? Turn in at the sign and park anywhere in the parking lot to the front and side of the building.
What should I wear? We dress informally. The building is well heated in the winter, and the Sanctuary is air conditioned in summer.
How does the church welcome children? Infants and toddlers may go to nursery care or stay with their parents during the service. School age children come to the Sunday service with their parents then go to Sunday School after the "Time for All Ages", which is a brief story on the theme of the service about 10 minutes into the service hour. Sunday school children are grouped by grade levels, K-2 and grades 3-6. Grades 7-12 meet as a youth group on Sunday evening at 5 o'clock.
Is the church handicapped accessible? Yes. The building is all on one floor and there are no steps up to the door. We have hearing aids and large print hymnals available in the lobby and the rest rooms are fully accessible.
What kind of service can I expect? Our services follow a traditional format for most Sundays. We start with annnouncements and a prelude, then we light a chalice, sing a hymn, share joys and sorrows, hear readings, meditate, and then have a sermon, and sing a final hymn. We have a choir, a pianist, and occasionally have other instrumental music. We always have refreshments and social time after the service for members, friends and visitors to get to know one another better.
