Our Vision: A vibrant liberal religious community seeking to improve the world through justice, love, and truth.

We are self-governing within a larger organization

All Unitarian Universalist congregations support and govern themselves democratically.  Our Fellowship is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations and a member of the Association's Ballou Channing District which includes the 45 Unitarian Universalist congregations in southeast Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Our national and regional associations provide forums for discussion, collaboration and training as well as educational and worship materials for congregations and help in preparing and finding ministers.  Congregations pay for these services.

Locally, here in Falmouth, our members elect officers and directors to two year terms on our governing board at our annual meeting in June. Officers and directors lead the business affairs of the church. Most of the church’s work is done by committees. Members and friends are encouraged to serve on one or more committees and to support the fellowship financially.
