It’s hard to believe that there have been 16 Alternative Gift Markets in
Falmouth since the first one was started by our Fellowship in 2007. An alternative gift market gives shoppers an opportunity to make donations to worthy nonprofits dedicated to helping people in need or protecting our planet. These donations are often given as gifts in honor of friends or family members. There are also fair trade vendors at the market. Purchases of fair trade items enable artisans and farmers around the world to make a sustainable living for themselves and their family.
Everyone is encouraged to attend this important event that is supported by so many from UU Falmouth and across the Cape.
