CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL! For thousands of years, arctic permafrost has stored carbon beneath the earth’s surface and kept it out of our atmosphere. But as it thaws, it threatens to release enormous amounts of carbon dioxide and methane that could drastically accelerate the effects of climate change. Come to UUFF on Wednesday, November 14 at 7:00 PM for a presentation by Woods Hole Research Center to learn more.
