Lew Stern will lead a series of three, one-hour weekly Zoom calls, Fridays at 10 AM, April 17 and 24, and May 1st.
The topic is how to give and get what we need from each other in this time of stress – We are all trying to stay connected during this time of isolation. When we talk by phone or telecom, it’s not the same as face-to-face. If we live with someone and are stuck at home, we are having more shared time and space than we are used to. Under stress, we can sometimes be less patient, open-minded, or empathetic with each other.
This Zoom-call series on Compassionate Conversations for UUFF members and friends focuses on how we can talk with one another, in these unusual times, to be heard, supported, and loved when we need it the most.
Lew is a retired relationship psychologist and an active member of UUFF. Join one, two, or all three of the sessions. Email Lew at lewstern49@gmail.com to let him know if you’d like to join.
