FILM SCREENING: GROWING UP COY – Join in the celebration of “National Coming Out Day” with the screening of Growing Up Coy: Inside One Family’s Fight for Transgender Equality, Thursday, October 11 at 6:30 PM at the Meetinghouse. This is a unique opportunity as we continue our commitment to learning as an LGBTQ-Welcoming congregation. Our intent is also to help create a greater understanding of transgender identity, and awareness of the upcoming November ballot initiative on transgender rights. Everyone is encouraged to attend and bring friends both within and outside of the congregation.
The film is free and offered in collaboration with Thrive LGBTQ Youth Center and PFLAG of Cape Cod
