Mayflower Wind is developing a federal offshore wind lease area with potential to generate over 1,600 megawatts of low-cost, clean energy (enough to power over half a million homes!). It is likely that some of the project’s major system components will be located within the Town of Falmouth. The presentation will explore and answer questions on project plans and how they will affect local towns and address eco-justice, climate change, and environmental sustainability.

This session is led by Kelsey Perry, Mayflower Wind’s Community Liaison Officer, to engage stakeholders from our faith communities at UU Falmouth and St Barnabas Memorial Episcopal Church.

THIS EVENT IS FOR UU FALMOUTH MEMBERS AND FRIENDS ONLY. The Registration deadline is 3pm Monday 3/1/21.
