SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION COMMITTEE EVENT: Wastewater Treatment and Water Quality presentation by Andrew Gottlieb. On Wednesday May 3 at 7 PM at the Meeting House Andrew Gottlieb, Executive Director of the Association to Preserve Cape Cod, will be presenting up-to-date information about these topics to UU Falmouth.

Always a dynamic speaker, Andrew will describe the status of Cape Cod waters—fresh and marine. He will address current local concerns such as new regulations proposed by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the dumping of Holtec’s radioactive wastewater into Cape Cod Bay. Andrew has more than 30 years of environmental protection experience in both state and local positions.
