“A Faith That Frees” – Feb.23

The African American tradition is rich in spiritual practices that comfort and liberate. These include not only Christian teachings, but Muslim, indigenous, and many more. In this service, we’ll draw from historical and contemporary, sacred and secular, Black sources as we seek a faith that frees us all. This service will include readings from The Black Trans Prayer Book: a newly released anthology of prayers, poems, meditations, and spells from Black trans persons (funded in part by fundraisers held by UU congregations across the country)
