At 10:30 AM during Sunday service, we will be welcoming our neighbors the Wampanoag Singers and Dancers, a group of musicians, educators and artisans from the tribal communities of Mashpee, Aquinnah on Martha’s Vineyard, and Herring Pond in Bourne.
They dress in traditional clothing and share their language and history while educating through Native dance and music. Their songs are accompanied by a water drum and handcrafted rattles. Audience participation is encouraged as they prefer to dance with the people instead of for the people. Please join us for a new, interesting, and fun experience.
