The UU Falmouth  Social Action and Environmental Committee organized Falmouth’s first Alternative Gift Market in 2007 and has continued to provide leadership for this annual event. Our annual AGMCC has grown!  We now have 9 Sponsoring congregations and 6 Supporting congregations, from Falmouth, Bourne, Mashpee, Sandwich and Barnstable.  Due to a broader outreach, the market is now called ALTERNATIVE GIFT MARKET CAPE COD.

Now is the time to visit the AGMCC website to learn about this year’s charitable organizations.  Return to the AGMCC website on November 7th to shop online.  Directions for shopping by mail are on the website.  Shopping by mail can begin anytime.

The Alternative Gift Market Cape Cod’s mission is to raise funds for worthy local, national and international organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of people and the health of our planet. These organizations work tirelessly to combat the effects of persistent poverty, injustice and climate change.

The photos below provide a glimpse of the “live” Alternative Gift Market experience.  We hope that next year you will be able to experience the AGMCC in-person.
