FALMOUTH’S ANNUAL ALTERNATIVE GIFT MARKET is an unusual kind of shopper’s fair offering thoughtful, non-traditional gifts, while supporting those in need in our local community and communities in other parts of the world.

Buy a tax-exempt gift that benefits any of 10 local and 10 global charitable organizations. These nonprofit organizations, like the food pantries of Falmouth, Bourne, Sandwich and Mashpee, and worldwide organizations such as Bicycles4Humanity,  help people on the Cape, in Massachusetts, and around the globe.

At the market’s Global Bazaar, you will find fine food products such as  Equal Exchange coffee and chocolate, as well as  hand-crafted items from the A Thread of Hope (Guatemala),  and Afri-Root Collective, where “every purchase makes a difference in someone’s life.” Purchase of any of these fair trade items helps farmers and artisans in developing countries earn enough money to sustain their families and educate their children.

FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT ATTEND THE MARKET: If you wish to buy AGM gifts this year, please download the shopping list, make your choices and send the list along with your check to UUFF, 840 Sandwich Road, E. Falmouth. MA 02534 Make your check payable to UUFF-AGM. Your receipt will be sent to you at the address you put on your shopping list.

You may also go to the UUFF office during office hours (Tuesday through Friday, 9 to 12) where you will find more information about the charitable organizations and the shopping lists.

MANY THANKS TO OUR GENEROUS COMMUNITY: The 2017 AGM raised $44,785 for 25 different organizations. The Fair Trade sales totaled over $10,000 for a grand total over $55,000.
