11th Annual Upper Cape Alternative Gift Market

Saturday, November 11, 2017, 11:00 to 3:00

Sunday, November 12, 2017, 11:00 to 3:00

St. Barnabas Parish Hall, 91 Main Street, Falmouth

Falmouth’s annual Alternative Gift Market is an unusual kind of shopper’s fair offering thoughtful, non-traditional gifts, while supporting those in need in our local community and communities in other parts of the world.

Buy a tax-exempt gift in honor of a loved one, a friend or someone else you wish to recognize, for the benefit of any of 10 local and 10 global charitable organizations. These nonprofit organizations, like the food pantries of Falmouth, Bourne, Sandwich and Mashpee, and worldwide organizations such as, help people on the Cape, in Massachusetts, and around the globe.

The Sharing Foundation – Roteang Orphanage

At the market’s Global Bazaar, you will find fine food products such as Equal Exchange coffee and chocolate, as well as  hand-crafted items from the Sharing Foundation (Cambodia), and Afri-Root Collective, where “every purchase makes a difference in someone’s life.” Purchase of any of these fair trade items helps farmers and artisans in developing countries earn enough money to sustain their families and educate their children.
