Guest minister, Aaron Stockwell: “When I was younger, my family would often visit Cape Cod for our summer vacations. Our family’s cottage was nearby a lighthouse and I became captivated with the duty, purpose, and obligations of the lighthouse keepers who tended them until their automation. Growing up, I wanted to be a lighthouse keeper, but was disappointed when I learned that there were very few. Instead, I became a minister. How is a faith community like a bunker, an oasis, or like a beacon?“ The Rev. Aaron M. Stockwell is the Settled Minister of the First Parish of Framingham, MA. A graduate of Lesley College and Andover Newton Theological School, he has served UU congregations in Massachusetts, Texas, and Kansas.
