The Earth Day Service will celebrate our planet and much more. Climate emergencies have now been declared in towns across the Cape. Through science, understanding of human behavior, and faith, there is hope to build on all the many things being done to mitigate and adapt to climate change, and to change the tide of social and environmental justice. To save this precious land of the People of the First Light, we must not only focus on our carbon footprint, but the footprint of how we treat each other and all other living things.
Through music, images, sounds, and words, we step back to see Earth and ourselves in a new light through the lens of Eco-justice. Each of us can do so much to change how we live individually, in our family, in our community, and as advocates for global sustainability and justice. We will be joined by members of diverse faith communities from across Cape Cod.
